Anhand arch\u00e4ologischer Funde skizziert die Ausstellung die Besiedlung der Region von der Steinzeit bis zur V\u00f6lkerwanderung. Jahrhundert nicht fehlen, denn dieser Beruf war neben der Landwirtschaft \u00fcber lange Zeit ein wichtiger Erwerbszweig der Stadtbev\u00f6lkerung.<\/p>\n<p>Den gr\u00f6\u00dften Raum nimmt die umfangreiche Waldglas-Sammlung des Museums ein: Br\u00e4unlich, gelb, blau, wei\u00df und in unz\u00e4hligen Gr\u00fcnt\u00f6nen leuchten mehr als 130 Glasgef\u00e4\u00dfe in einer gro\u00dfen Vitrine. \u00dcber die Geschichte der Glash\u00fctten vom 16. bis ins 19. Jahrhundert die Landwirtschaft. Schlosser wie Fischer &amp; Havemann montierten und reparierten seit den 1920er Jahren landwirtschaftliche Maschinen und Motoren in ihrer Werkstatt und auf dem Feld. Neben der vollst\u00e4ndigen Werkstatteinrichtung und mechanischen Zeugen des Fortschritts erweckt eine Filmstation die historische Technik zum Leben.<\/p>\n<p>Die Dauerausstellung in der Maschinenfabrik zeigt, dass die Industrialisierung im 19. Jahrhundert auch vor der Landwirtschaft nicht halt machte. Als Symbol f\u00fcr die technische Entwicklung der Antriebskr\u00e4fte steht ein funktionst\u00fcchtiger Gasmotor aus der Zeit um 1900. Der Einsatz von Traktoren und mobilen Kraftmaschinen erleichterte die schwere Feldarbeit und Schritt f\u00fcr Schritt ersetzten Motoren die Muskelkraft der Zugtiere. In der Mitte der Werkstatt steht ein Lanz Bulldog HL 12 und wartet darauf, von sachkundigen H\u00e4nden repariert zu werden.<\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"de-DE\">Im Brau- und Brennhaus steht das eindrucksvollste Exponat des Museums: Die Dampfmaschine, gebaut von den Gebr. Scheven in Teterow 1902\/03, trieb mit ihrer Leistung von etwa 70PS die Maschinen des S\u00e4gewerks der Firma Hildebrandt in Hagenow an. Neben der \u00bbguten Stube\u00ab mit stilechten M\u00f6beln und Textilien sind in der K\u00fcche die ersten Elektroger\u00e4te zu entdecken, die die Hausarbeit ma\u00dfgeblich erleichterten.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Die historische Gaststube ist vielen Museumsbesuchern noch in guter Erinnerung. Nach einer aufw\u00e4ndigen Restaurierung ist die Einrichtung des Schankraums aus dem Hotel \u201eStadt Hamburg\u201c in Wittenburg wieder zu sehen. Erg\u00e4nzt wird die detailreiche Inszenierung mit unz\u00e4hligen Exponate durch Wissenswertes \u00fcber die Bierbrauer, Branntweinbrenner und Gastwirte in Hagenow und des Umlandes. Einige Schw\u00e4nke aus Kuno Karls Fiek\u00b4n-Heften werden am Stammtisch zum Besten gegeben.
