Juli 2018 um 15.00 Uhr die Alte Synagoge nach einer etwa zweimonatigen Schlie\u00dfung wiederer\u00f6ffnet. Nach 10 Jahren mit \u00fcber 100 Veranstaltungen und weit mehr als 10.000 Besuchern hatte die Alte Synagoge einen neuen Anstrich verdient.<\/p>\n
Petra von Langsdorff setzt sich aktiv f\u00fcr das Miteinander verschiedener Religionen ein. Die 1935 in Berlin geborene K\u00fcnstlerin studierte an der Akademie f\u00fcr das Graphische Gewerbe in M\u00fcnchen und arbeitete mehr als 20 Jahre f\u00fcr Deutsche Fernsehanstalten wie den S\u00fcdwestfunk, dessen visuelles Erscheinungsbild sie in diesem Zeitraum gepr\u00e4gt hat. Anschlie\u00dfend wandte sie sich der Sozialarbeit zu und war vor allem dem Bereich der Kunsttherapie t\u00e4tig. Sie gr\u00fcndete mehrere gemeinn\u00fctzige Werkh\u00e4user, die auf Rehabilitation durch Kultur, Handwerk, Kunst und Gartenbau abzielen. Im Alter von 70 Jahren beendete sie ihr Erwerbsleben und engagiert sich seitdem ehrenamtlich f\u00fcr Amnesty International und den Interreligi\u00f6sen Dialog in Hamburg.<\/p>\n
Die intensive Auseinandersetzung mit theologischen Traditionen und den Religionen der Welt bildet den \u00dcberbau f\u00fcr Petra von Langsdorffs Kunst. Die farbenfrohen, mitunter gro\u00dfformatigen Werke greifen Aspekte aus verschiedenen Religionen auf. Motive, Symbole und mythische Figuren setzt sie in ihren Kollagen zusammen, die sie als \u201einterreligi\u00f6se Kommentare\u201c beschreibt. Ihre Bilder sollen den Dialog zwischen den Religionen begleiten und da mit Farben aushelfen, wo Worte nicht ausreichen.<\/p>\n
F\u00fcr die musikalische Gestaltung der Vernissage sorgen Isa und Matthias Hellermund (Gitarre und Gesang); anschlie\u00dfend f\u00fchrt die K\u00fcnstlerin in ihre Bildwelt ein. Die Ausstellung ist vom 1. Juli bis zum 11. November 2018 jeweils Dienstag und Donnerstag 9\u201312 Uhr und 14\u201317 Uhr sowie Sonntag 14\u201317 Uhr in der Alten Synagoge in der Hagenstra\u00dfe 48 zu sehen.
